This is the Data Privacy Notice for the Advance Brighter Futures, a mental health and wellbeing charity based in Wrexham who provide various mental health and wellbeing services across North East Wales. This Data Privacy Notice is for the People We Support (PWS). It includes all PWS regardless of the service provided.

Collection and Use of the Information

All the information obtained and processed is provided directly from you and other agencies when warrened such as NHS. All the information you provide is used in the provision of support or advice to you.

In some circumstances the Company may share this information with other organisations such as local health board, local authority or other local charities as part of our support service to you. It may also be shared, when warranted to obtain or arrange for additional or external support services to meet your needs.

Storage & Retention of Information

We keep your personal information in secure, protected databases with restricted, secure access. Your personal information is retained only as long as the purpose for its collection exists or remains unfulfilled.

Information and data are under kept under constant review and where information or data is identified as having no further use or purpose it is destroyed.

Destruction of Information

Once personal information becomes irrelevant, redundant or has fulfilled its purpose it is destroyed, if it held

electrically it is deleted using electronic deletion. If held in paper copy the information is shredded

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, the Company have one month to respond to you. Please contact the Company if you wish to make a request.

If you have any concerns about our collection, storage use and deletion of your personal information please contact the Company and ask for the Chief Officer who is appointed as the Data Controller.
