ABF to launch BRAND NEW service supporting families in Flintshire

Advance Brighter Futures is excited to launch its BRAND NEW service this September which will offer support to any parent living in Flintshire with a child under the age of 18.


‘A Parents Guide to…’ mix of courses and drop-in sessions have been designed to help you through the challenges of parenthood, helping you learn practical skills and tools to help improve your ability to cope with symptoms of stress and anxiety, enjoy better relationships, and live life to the full.


The courses are funded through the Families First programme in Flintshire.


‘A Parent’s Guide to...’
'A Parent's Guide to...Managing Stress & Anxiety' is made up of six interactive sessions and is designed to help parents manage difficult emotional states. You will get to explore and understand more about stress and anxiety and discover how to change the way you are thinking, including practical ways to help you reduce symptoms.

  • Wednesdays | 10:00am - 11:30am

  • Starting 14th September - 19th October

  • Held online via Zoom

  • Cost: FREE

‘A Parent’s Guide to…Living Life to the Full’ weekly drop-in sessions have been designed to help you tackle everyday problems that every parent faces from time to time. These informal sessions will teach you the skills and give you the tools to help you feel better, happier, and more in control of your life!
  • Weekly drop-in sessions

  • Every Thursday | 10:00am - 11:30am

  • Starting 15th September

  • Held online via Zoom

  • Cost: FREE
